Two men climbed through an open apartment window in Colorado Springs early this morning, robbing electronic equipment from the residents at gunpoint.
The incident happened at about 1:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Chelton Road, the Fountain Village Apartments, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
One of the robbers pointed a silver handgun at the two residents inside the home, police said.
Several pieces of electronic equipment were stolen and the pair left the apartment through the same window.
Police described the suspects as Hispanic men. One suspect is about 5-feet 6-inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The second suspect is about 5-feet 5-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing dark colored pants and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
No one was injured during the armed robbery.
Police searched the area but did not find the robbers.
