Several people were shot Wednesday in Aurora when gunmen opened fire on a group outside a home.

The multiple shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. in the 2200 block of Emporia Street, said Aurora police Lt. Paul O’Keefe.

Three men and a woman were on the front porch when they were shot. They were taken to a hospital, O’Keefe said, and one victim remains in critical condition.

However, none of the injuries was life-threatening, police said.

Police said two or three men opened fire on the group. The shooters ran off and were not caught.

No motive for the shooting or detailed description of the assailants was released.

Anyone with information on the shootings, or on possible suspects, is asked to call Detective Steve Conner at 303-739-6190.
