Northern Colorado has plenty of thrift stores, consignment shops and antiques dealers, but Roland Demers and Cassandra Breen want their new Loveland business to go beyond the typical offerings.
More than just stuff, they said, their store will merge affordable shopping, coffee and community.
After signing a lease three weeks ago, the couple has worked from the wee morning hours into late nights prepping the Consignment Café at 111 E. Fifth St. for shoppers.
Wednesday was the first time the space looked put together after days of couches stacked on couches and cabinets and tables oriented topsy-turvy.
