Colorado Springs police have identified the two people who died Thursday when the motorcycle they were riding hit a curb and flipped.
Mark Igou, 48, and Cynthia Igou, 46, were killed around 4 p.m. in the crash on Fountain Boulevard east of Hancock Avenue, said Colorado Springs police Sgt. Mark Stevens.
The motorcycle they were riding was headed west on Fountain Boulevard when it hit the north curb at a place where the road veers to the left, said police Sgt. Jerry Steckler.
The motorcycle rolled several times, and the driver and passenger were thrown off.
Neither Mark Igou or Cynthia Igou were wearing helmets, police said.
