NEDERLAND, Colo.—A 38-year-old man is recovering from injuries after he was thrown from a horse that was spooked by a bicyclist.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office says James Nelson was horseback riding with his family on Wednesday when the incident occurred near Nederland.
Deputies say the bicyclist was riding appropriately and did not intentionally cause the accident.
