DENVER—A medical marijuana patient and advocate is taking his fight over the legality of medical marijuana laws to federal court.
According to the Denver Post ( ), Brandon Baker is arguing that Colorado’s laws regulating medical-marijuana dispensaries are an unconstitutional violation of medical-marijuana patients’ life and liberty.
The federal government has warned dispensaries they could be subject to prosecution because use of the drug is still barred by federal law.
