GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction mother is facing charges after witnesses reported seeing her 9-year-old daughter drive across Grand Junction at least twice last week.
Police say 36-year-old Lori Ann Rogers was cited on suspicion of two counts of permitting an authorized minor to drive, four counts of child abuse, four counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of operating an uninsured vehicle. Witnesses say the mother was in the car at the time.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (), the mother is also accused of allowing her daughter drive with a 10-month-old child in a car seat.
