High-country lakes continue to produce well and should right up to ice-up. Granby and other nearby waters are seeing great rainbow action with flies and lures. Lake trout action continues to improve at Green Mountain and Granby as the water temperatures drop. Jigs tipped with sucker meat are a favorite tactic. Reports on kokanee snagging remain mixed with no consistency as to location or time. Green Mountain, Williams Fork and Gross reservoirs are all producing a few kokanee. With the cooler weather, Front Range reservoirs such as Aurora and Boyd Lake State Park are seeing good trout action, and the perch bite has yet to cool.
