Roger Daltrey’s vocals have aged better than most of his classic-rock counterparts, generally speaking. Sure, long gone are the Who’s days of guitar smashing and kick-drum explosions, but Daltrey remains one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most venerable frontmen. He’ll perform his group’s storied rock opera “Tommy” in its entirety at the 1stBank Center on Sunday, and while the band behind him is not the Who, expect all the pomp and circumstance of songs like “Pinball Wizard” in the arena setting. Tickets, $40.50- $126, are available through Tickethorse.

Amon Tobin may have the tour of the year, and it’s fair to say that 95 percent of live-music fans have not heard of him. The Brazilian-born DJ has raised the bar with his 2011 tour that blurs the lines between sound, visuals and live performance. This is far from a “light show,” it’s more of a sensory experience. Tickets for both Tuesday’s show at the Boulder Theater and Wednesday’s at the Ogden Theatre are sold-out, but try your luck outside the venues.
