Denver could see record breaking heat tomorrow, before normal fall temperatures kick in.

Denver’s record high for Oct. 15 was 82 degrees in 1938.

Tomorrow, temperatures in the Mile High City could reach 85 degrees, according forecasts from the National Weather Service.

Today, Denver’s temperature reached a high of 72.

This time of year, Denver usually sees temperatures closer to the mid-60s, but another round of La Niña climate conditions will keep the metro area drier and warmer than normal through the winter.

La Niña is also expected to create windier conditions in town through the season, but Saturday winds won’t be a problem yet, staying under 10 mph.

Sunday, weather will begin to feel like fall with a high temperature expected to reach 67 degrees.

The rest of the week temperatures will stay in the 60s or upper 50s.
