The search continued in a Garfield County today, but there was still no sign of a fisherman thrown from a boat into the Colorado River Friday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Department said this evening.
The search will resume in the morning. The man has not been named, nor has his two companions, who made it safely to the river bank after their boat his a bridge piling near the Rifle boat launch.
Divers have used underwater cameras and ultrasound, and ground searches have included tracking and cadaver dogs.
