The Rapids allowed two goals, falling 2-0 to Santos Laguna in Torreon, Mexico, in Wednesday’s final CONCACAF Champions League Group B match.

The Rapids needed a win against Santos Laguna to automatically clinch a top-two finish and advance to the quarterfinals. With the loss, Colorado can still clinch a berth if Real España and Isidro Metapan tie in their last game, which will be played in El Salvador today.
