The misdemeanor assault trial for Jeffrey Campos, former president and chief executive of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver, was set for Feb. 8 in a brief court hearing this morning.
Campos, 55, appeared with his attorney, Gary Lozow, in Denver County Court. Judge Doris Burd set the trial on the assault charge, which stems from an altercation with chamber member Jennifer Reins.
Campos, whom Lozow said had had a “personal and business relationship” with Reins, resigned his position in July after his arrest.
