After the release of the remake “Footloose,” actress and model Andie MacDowell’s most recent incarnation is as the character Vi Moore, the preacher’s wife in the town where dancing is illegal.
Born Rosalie Anderson “Andie” MacDowell, the 53-year-old South Carolina native has stayed close to her roots, living in North Carolina for the past few years in a gorgeous 1.89-acre property in Biltmore Forest. But now it looks like MacDowell is ready to trade her piece of prestigious Biltmore Forest real estate, listing her 4-story, 9,800-sq ft home for $4.5 million.
Described as a “storybook Tudor with Art Nouveau and arts and crafts influences,” features 6 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, and expansive terraces. The listing also mentions the park-like property, which overlooks the seventh fairway of the community’s country club, was featured in in the summer of 2008.
MacDowell isn’t the only “Footloose” cast member making real estate moves. Dennis Quaid, who plays opposite MacDowell as Reverend Shaw Moore in the film, has for $1,495,000, a property that he has owned since 1982. Quaid is also looking to unload his equestrian estate that is listed on the market for $10 million – a from the $16.9 million Quaid originally listed the L.A. estate for in March 2011.
