The Institute for Justice today filed an appeal on behalf of Mile High Cab to the Colorado Supreme Court in its effort to land approval for cab service in Denver.
The appeal comes a month after a Denver District Court judge denied the fledgling cab company’s lawsuit to overturn a state Public Utilities Commission decision in November 2010 refusing Mile High’s petition for a license.
Mile High has been trying to acquire PUC approval for about three years.
