A woman walking her dog discovered a body of a young man in an irrigation ditch in Fort Collins this afternoon, police said.
The man, who is in his 20s, was not identified. Fort Collins police spokeswoman Rita Davis said there was no trauma to the body or other indication of foul play.
Investigators have turned the body over to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office to confirm the man’s identity and cause of death, she said.
The body was spotted off pedestrian bridge near South Shields Street in the Heatherridge Lakes neighborhood.
