ASPEN, Colo.—The Aspen airport is planning to install a video system to stop people in the private plane parking area from wandering into the path of taxiing aircraft.

Airport director Jim Elwood says wandering travelers have been a persistent problem at the airport, but so far, there have been no major accidents.

According to the Aspen Daily News ( ), the infrared video system will alert airport staff so airport personnel can intercept animals and people who wander off course.
