LARAMIE, Wyo.—Three top prep basketball players from Colorado and Wyoming have signed letters of intent to play for the University of Wyoming.

The recruits announced Wednesday are Josh Adams of Parker, Colo., Austin Haldorson of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and Jason McManamen of Torrington, Wyo.

Adams, of Chaparral High School, is one of the top point guards in Colorado.

Scouts graded Haldorson, a forward at Highlands Ranch High School, 80 out of a possible 100.

The university said McManamen is considered the top basketball prospect in Wyoming. As a junior at Torrington, the shooting guard scored an average of 16.5 points per game.

Wyoming basketball coach Larry Shyatt said a junior college player, Matt Sellers of Champlin Park, Minn., has also signed a scholarship offer with the Cowboys.
