A man in Colorado Springs fired a pistol, twice, at his wife and brother-in-law, but the gun misfired and the weapon was wrestled away from him, police said.
The incident happened at about 11:35 p.m. Sunday in the 4800 Block of Astrozon Blvd., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
Officers were called to the home on a report of a family disturbance. The suspect fled to a home in the 3300 block of Foxridge Drive where officers found him hiding.
Police used a chemical agent to flush the suspect from his hiding spot and arrested him on suspicion of attempted murder.
An investigation is ongoing, police said. The name of the suspect was not released.
