STANFORD, Calif. — Josh Owens scored 15 points, and Gabriel Harris and Aaron Bright each added 12 as Stanford overcame an 11-point deficit midway through the first half en route to a 64-52 victory over Colorado State on Tuesday night in the West Regional final of the NIT Season Tipoff.

The Rams (2-1) pulled within 54-52 when Will Bell made a layup with 3:01 remaining, but the Cardinal scored the game’s final 10 points to advance to a Nov. 23 semifinal matchup against Oklahoma State or Texas-San Antonio at Madison Square Garden.

Jesse Carr’s 3-pointer gave CSU its biggest lead of the game, 23-12, with 9:25 left in the first half. Wes Eikmeier led the Rams with 13 points, while Carr and Greg Smith added 10 apiece.

Wyoming 75, Northern Colorado 56

LARAMIE — Francisco Cruz scored a career-high 30 points and the Cowboys (2-0) put the game away in the second half with the help of a five-point play.

Adam Waddell was fouled by Connor Osborne on a dunk following a fast break. As Waddell hung on the rim, Osborne gave him a shove, earning a technical foul. Waddell hit his foul shot before Cruz added two more for the technical.

Paul Garnica scored 18 points and Tim Huskisson added 10 for the Bears (0-2).

NEW YORK — Doron Lamb scored 17 points, Terrence Jones had 15 and the Wildcats (2-0) raced to a decisive spurt at the start of the second half to give coach John Calipari his first victory in four games against the Jayhawks (1-1).

No. 3 Ohio State 81, No. 7 Florida 74

COLUMBUS, Ohio — William Buford scored 21 points, Jared Sullinger added 16, Deshaun Thomas scored 15 and Aaron Craft contributed 13 points and seven assists as the Buckeyes (2-0) forced 16 turnovers and hit 27-of-34 free throws to pull away from the Gators in the second half.

WACO, Texas — Senior Quincy Acy and freshman Quincy Miller combined to score 16 points during an 18-5 run in the second half that lead the Bears (3-0) past the Aztecs (3-1).

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Lady Vols (2-0) unleashed an 18-4 run after halftime and never allowed the Hurricanes (1-1) to get closer than five points from there.

STORRS, Conn. — The Huskies (2-0) extended their record home winning streak to 85 games.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — After receiving their national championship rings and unveiling a banner commemorating their title in a pregame ceremony, the Aggies (2-0) took an 8-0 lead and never looked back.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Jamonica Hudgins scored a game-high 18 points but the Grizzlies (1-1) couldn’t overcome an 18-point deficit at halftime.
