Arvada police Friday released a composite sketch of a man suspected in two attempted child abductions and an indecent-exposure incident in Arvada.

The man may be driving a grayish-colored sedan or possibly riding a blue mountain bike.

The first incident happened Nov. 4, when three 12-year-old girls were playing outside near West 69th Place and Robb Street. A man driving a grayish sedan approached the girls before exposing and touching himself in front of them.

At 3 p.m. on Nov. 12, police were called to 7000 Ward Road, near Danny Kendrick Park and the Apex Recreation Center, on a report of a possible child abduction. A 12-year-old girl told officers she was playing with a friend and her dog when a man jumped out of the bushes and grabbed her.

The girl kicked the man and was able to break free and run home.

At 8 p.m. on Wednesday, a 6-year-old girl was approached by a man while she was sitting in the lounge area of the YMCA at 6350 Eldridge St. The girl left the building with the man after he asked her to help him find his bike.

As the two walked out of the building, the man placed his hand over the girl’s mouth. The girl pushed his hand away and ran back inside to find her parents.
