DENVER—A major builder of rural schools has agreed to repair a school in southern Colorado after safety questions were raised.
Neenan company spokesman Andy Boian says issues with Monte Vista High School’s columns and foundation came to light in mid-September during a review and the company plans to fix them.
According to the Denver Post ( ), Neenan already has agreed to a Colorado Department of Education request that it hire an outside firm to review the structural engineering on 15 school projects that won $150 million in grants through the Building Excellent Schools Today program.
