In its first official report since its launch in July, the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said credit-card companies resolved nearly three-fourths of the 5,000 complaints it has received.

Though the most frequently cited issues were billing disputes and interest-rate terms, the biggest concern at the bureau was how consumers still seem confounded over their credit cards, the CFPB said in its seven-page report.
