GREELEY, Colo.—The Houston-based oil field services company Oil States International says it plans to create 249 jobs over the next five years in Johnstown in northern Colorado, where it has acquired a manufacturing plant.

The company said Thursday that the facility will produce modular homes for remote oil and gas site workers beginning in mid-2012.

The Greeley Tribune reports ( ) that with the state’s Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit program, the company could receive up to $2.2 million in state tax credits for creating a sufficient number of jobs that pay 110 percent of the median county wage,
