GLENWOOD SPRINGS — A few lucky folks who happened to be in the right place at the right time Wednesday evening were the recipients of some unexpected Christmas cheer.
A man from out of town showed up at the Double Dog Pub at Glenwood Meadows around happy hour Wednesday afternoon and asked whether he could get a ride to the nearby Wells Fargo Bank.
Double Dog owner Bob Glowacki said his bartender, Dave, whose last name he didn’t want to give out, obliged.
And that’s when the fun began.
The mystery Santa reportedly withdrew $10,000 in hundred-dollar bills and began handing money out to bank customers who were standing in line waiting to make transactions.
