United Airlines has issued a travel waiver for Denver for today’s flights because of predicted high winds. Anyone who purchased tickets before Friday for travel today may change their flights without a fee.
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a high-wind warning that is in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
“No flights have been canceled,” United spokeswoman Mary Ryan said Friday. “We wanted to be proactive.”
