One of the suspects in the robbery last year of a Gunbarrel medical marijuana dispensary has been sentenced to 10 years in community corrections. The other is scheduled to be sentenced next week.

Dubbed the “ninja robbers,” Trevor Morris, 27, and Ashley Bradford, 23, were accused of robbing the Green Dreams medical marijuana dispensary in February 2011 while dressed in black, wearing ski masks and wielding machete-like weapons.

Bradford was found guilty of aggravated robbery by a Boulder County jury. Morris pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery as part of a plea deal.

Morris was sentenced last week to three years in community corrections in the robbery case. Community corrections operates two halfway houses, one in Boulder and the other in Longmont.
