MANCHESTER, N.H. — Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, finishing out of the top three in New Hampshire’s Republican primary, says he’s going to focus on jobs when he campaigns in South Carolina.
“We’re going to offer the American people something very different,” Gingrich told about 200 supporters at a downtown hotel. “We’re going to offer them the opportunity to participate in very dramatic, very fundamental change in Washington.”
Gingrich, an aggressive critic of Mitt Romney, has put up ads in South Carolina attacking Romney for his “timid” economic proposal and shifting views on abortion.
