Loveland police said today that 28-year-old Krystal Grubba of Fort Collins was driving drunk at 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, but she did not cause a passenger to jump out of her moving vehicle.Tyler Pike, 25, of Fort Collins was hospitalized in critical condition after he jumped out of the moving vehicle at 3700 North Wilson Avenue.
The subsequent toxicology report indicated Grubba was legally drunk at the time of the incident, and she been issued a summons in the case.
“The investigators have determined that Tyler Pike left the moving vehicle of his own accord, and that Grubba did not contribute to the injuries sustained by Pike,” Loveland police stated this afternoon.
