DENVER—Gov. John Hickenlooper has named three appointments to the board of directors for the state-chartered workers’ compensation insurer.
The state Senate must approve the appointments to the Pinnacol Assurance board.
Hickenlooper chose Marcia Ann Benshoof as a member with experience in the management of insurance companies. She replaces Ryan Hettich, who was term limited. Jeffrey L. Cummings was chosen as an employer whose liability is insured by Pinnacol, replacing term-limited Gary Johnson. Their terms would expire in 2017.
Hickenlooper named Harold L. Logan Jr., whose employer’s liability is insured by Pinnacol. He replaces John Cevette, who resigned. Logan’s term would expire next year.
Cevette is chief of staff to Senate President Brandon Shaffer. State lawmakers might be asked to consider a bill on Pinnacol as it examines a restructuring.
