Authorities evacuated about six buildings and closed South Main Street in downtown Pueblo after a woman brought three sticks of dynamite to police for disposal.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports the woman found the old sticks dynamite in a house and had them in the trunk of her car Friday morning.
Police removed the dynamite and took it to a shooting range for disposal.
