FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Family members are waiting for answers about how a 66-year-old Colorado man’s body went unnoticed in a locked movie theater restroom for five days after he was last seen alive.

Authorities say George DeGrazio of Loveland died of a heart attack. His body was found Saturday after workers at a Cinemark theater in Fort Collins noticed an odor and forced their way in.

James Meredith, Cinemark’s vice president for marketing and communication, said Tuesday DeGrazio was in a small family restroom that was locked from inside.

DeGrazio’s son, Dylan, says the family reported him missing on Jan. 10 after he was last seen the day before.

Cinemark released a statement saying five employees are on leave while the company investigates.

Police in Loveland and Fort Collins didn’t immediately return calls.
