CHEYENNE — Officials at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old airman from Colorado.
Capt. Angela Webb said Airman 1st Class Brandon Tafoya died in the shooting in a government building on base about 10:55 p.m. Wednesday. She said Friday that the shooting is under investigation and would not say whether the death was a suicide, homicide or accident. Tafoya was from Westminster and was a member of the 90th Security Forces Group.
