SPIRE’s sales manager Mark Friedberg won’t tell you how many homes the tower in downtown’s theater district is on track to sell this month (it’s amazing, he says) … but he will tell you what SPIRE sold during the often-sluggish Christmas holidays: $5 million worth. “We’ve exceeded over $100 million in sales and 300 closings to date,” he said … and he and his team will show you why today, as they showcase a “show floor” with a range of homes you can tour.

How well are those new restaurants doing that SPIRE opened last year on downtown’s newly transformed 14th Street? “They’re so popular that I tried to make reservations via OpenTable the other night at Row 14, and the site wouldn’t take it because they were booked,” Friedberg added. “I had to call through SPIRE to get in as a favor!” Meanwhile, theater-goers packing DCPA shows like ‘Bring It On’ and the soon-to-debut ‘Book of Mormon’ are heading for SPIRE’s newly-opened Crave Dessert Bar & Lounge after the curtain goes down. “People love it,” Friedberg said; adding that lunch crowds at SPIRE’s acclaimed Snarf’s sandwich shop spill out the door.

How does that translate into sales? “We’re exceeding all expectations,” Friedberg said, noting that SPIRE is outselling all seven of the other downtown residential projects combined – and is seeing strong demand for premium upper-level homes with majestic views – some cash buyers, others taking advantage of super-low rates. “They’re choosing us because our quality, location and value is so reasonable,” he added. Included in the are coastal “relos” buying in Denver – … some wanting a mile-high pied-a-terre that they can use in concert with a home in the high-country.

Friedberg adds that Denver’s hot reputation for lifestyle resonates with those buyers. “The buzz is that we’re an ‘it’ city that attracts talented, ambitious residents,” he said. “People see us as fit, healthy, and friendly, with urban amenities that aren’t congested or overwhelming.” The team will show you how SPIRE contributes to that lifestyle as you tour the extensive health club, Box Office theater, a view-swept pool and deck, concierge desk where residents do errands (even grocery shopping) in one elevator stop; and a private SkyClub Lounge for residents of the top ten floors.

Be sure to ask about SPIRE’s sustainability – LEED® certified, Hertz-On-Demand hourly car sharing, a B-Cycle bike station right across the street, “walkers paradise” Walk Score of 94 and a “rider’s paradise” of 90 out of 100. Park free at meters (Sunday only) during your tour at SPIRE’s visitor center, between 14th and 15th on Champa.
