DENVER—An indictment has been unsealed alleging an Aurora truck driver supported and planned to provide material support to a terrorist organization.

The indictment unsealed Tuesday against 35-year-old Jamshid Muhtorov contains no additional details about his alleged plans to travel overseas to fight for Islamic Jihad Union, a designated terrorist group, and give up his life if necessary.

Muhtorov faces a charge of providing and attempting to provide material support of a designated foreign terrorist organization. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Muhtorov was arrested in Chicago Saturday. The U.S. Marshals Service will transport Muhtorov from Illinois to Colorado, where he’ll appear in court when he arrives.

A timetable has not been released.
