Broomfield police are looking for the driver of a semi-truck that hit a 16-year-old girl in a crosswalk Wednesday night.

About 6:33 p.m., the teen was crossing Lowell Boulevard at East Midway Boulevard when she was hit by a semi-truck turning south onto Lowell, according to a news release from the Broomfield Police Department.

She was hit by the rear wheels of the trailer. Her name and condition have not been released. The trailer’s color was light yellow or white.

Police would like to talk with the driver of the truck or any witnesses who might have seen the accident.
