Front Range ice-fishing options are quickly becoming very limited. Aurora, Chatfield, Cherry Creek and Bear Creek reservoirs are still getting iced, although the catching has been slow. Georgetown and Evergreen are also good options. Open waters stocked with trout — such as Douglass, Wellington, Carter, Boyd and Lon Hagler — are reporting decent action from the shore. Lake trout action for smaller fish continues at Williams Fork, Granby and Green Mountain; spoons are a good option. South Park waters Elevenmile, Antero and Tarryall have picked up. Tailwater fisheries such as the Fryingpan, Dream Stream and Blue are all producing. Midges are the ticket.
