No students were injured this morning in a rush-hour accident on Interstate 25 that involved a school bus.
The accident happened at about 8:45 this morning near the Colorado Boulevard exit on I-25. Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the accident involved a school bus and two sport-utility vehicles. The school bus was empty, except for the driver, at the time of the crash, Jackson said.
The drivers of the SUVs both suffered minor injuries, Jackson said. It’s not yet clear who was at fault in the accident, Jackson said.
The crash blocked one lane of the highway and tangled up traffic at the end of the rush hour.
