DENVER—Denver police are investigating after a man fell under a bus in Denver.
Bus contractor Veolia Transportation says the death happened Tuesday in west Denver when the man got off a Regional Transportation District bus and fell under the wheels as the bus pulled away.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson tells The Denver Post ( ) the man died at a hospital several hours after the accident.
The medical examiner’s office identified the man as 60-year-old Mario Castro of Thornton.
