SWAT teams and negotiators responded to a home in southwest Denver tonight, but a standoff ended peacefully at about 8:30 p.m.

John White, spokesman for the Denver Police Department, said a man wanted for a parole violation barricaded himself inside the home near West Nevada Place and South Quitman Street.

White said a metro-wide taskforce had tips that led them to the man at the home during the investigation of a possible sexual assault and a robbery.

No one else was at the home during the time, and no one was injured during the stand-off.

The identity of the man has not yet been released.
