PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.—A general serving at the Air Force Space Command headquarters at Peterson Air Force Base is in line for a second star.
The Air Force said Thursday that Brig. Gen. Samuel A. Greaves has been nominated for major general.
The Senate must confirm the nomination before it becomes official.
Greaves is director of plans, programs and analyses for the Space Command.
Peterson is in Colorado Springs.
