GOLDEN, Colo.—Prosecutors have filed four charges against a 14-year-old girl suspected in a hammer attack at Columbine High School.

Jefferson County district attorney spokeswoman Pam Russell says the suspect, whose name is being withheld because she’s a juvenile, is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of menacing.

A judge earlier this week ordered the girl held without bond until a hearing scheduled for Friday afternoon.

A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were injured in Monday’s attack and are expected to recover.

Jefferson County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says investigators have completed interviews and collected surveillance video from the school.

Monday’s attack was the first assault with a weapon at the school since the 1999 shootings that left 12 students, a teacher and the gunmen dead.
