The Denver Medical Examiner’s Office today named the man whose body was found in an apartment trash bin Friday morning, but how he died remains under investigation.
Scott Sleichter, 59, was found in the bin in the basement of the Casa Del Sol Apartments at 860 N. Clermont St.
Police have called the death suspicious. The bin is at the end of garbage chutes that lead from the 10 stories above it.
Public records indicate Sleichter has lived at the address, a half-block south of Rose Medical Center, since 1998.
