BOULDER – — Boulder collected 5.7 percent more in sales and use tax revenue last year than in 2010, continuing a trend that officials say indicates the city’s economy is on the road to recovery.

The report said the increase was a sign that “although we still struggle to return to pre-recession trends … recent collections may be getting closer to recovering some of the losses experienced during the recent recession.”
