Postseason all-star basketball games are set.
The annual Joint Effort Colorado Basketball Classic and Western Regional Tourney is April 12-14 at Manual. Hosted by John Bailey for decades, the classic has featured some of the top names in Denver-area basketball.
This year it’s for boys and girls players in grades 5-12 here and nationally. Two senior boys teams, from New Jersey and New Mexico, will participate. Tryouts for teams involving players in grades 9-12 are April 7. Information: johnbailey53@yahoo.com or 303-745-9649.
The Show, boys and girls high school all-star games sponsored by the Nuggets, will be April 6 at the Pepsi Center (the Nuggets play Phoenix that night). Teams will be announced next week.
