BOULDER — Some people find pizza coupons or fliers for painting businesses on their door. Boulder resident Joel Lenorovitz found a note from Xcel Energy politely informing him there was a dead goose on his roof.
Lenorovitz arrived at his south Boulder home Friday to find a notice on his door that said, “There is a dead goose on your roof. We think it flew into power lines and caused an outage — Xcel.”
“I thought it was some sort of a joke,” Lenorovitz said. But when he took a look on his roof, he quickly realized it was not.
“Sure enough, there was a goose right there,” he said.
