BOULDER, Colo.—A 22-year-old man who was involved in a single-vehicle rollover crash that killed two of his passengers west of Longmont has been arrested.
The Daily Camera ( ) reports Adolph Lopez of Longmont was arrested Friday on suspicion of two counts of vehicular homicide due to reckless driving and two counts of vehicular homicide under the influence.
The Colorado State Patrol says Lopez was driving at about 5:20 a.m. Feb. 25 with Anthony Sandoval and Jerry Martinez, both 27, when his vehicle rolled. Sandoval and Martinez were ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. Lopez was hospitalized.
Investigators said at the time of the crash they suspected alcohol or drugs played a role.
