A little more than two weeks ago an avalanche swept down a back country slope killing a snowboarder in Telluride. His death is the 5th involving an avalanche this season.
This weekend, Nate Soules would have celebrated his 39th birthday.
Hilary Soules says she wants everyone to know her husband was more than just a statistic. Hilary wants to remind skiers and snowboarders that when avalanche danger is high – don’t try to tackle the slopes. She says Nate went out by himself the day he died when the danger level was high.
