GREELEY — Matt Samson said he always wanted to die doing what he loved.
That unfortunate event happened Monday. The 23-year-old Greeley resident was on a motorcycle, doing what he loved on a sunny spring-like afternoon. He died at the intersection of 11th Avenue and 23rd Street, while riding a friend’s motorcycle. While driving south on 11th Avenue, he clipped the tail end of a Jeep Cherokee, turning into North Hall on 23rd Street. He died on scene.
“He always said he wanted to die doing something he loved. And he loved riding,” said his sister Candace Prall, 25, of Greeley. “He loved hanging out with his friends and family and riding bikes.”
