FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A man who held financial-management positions for Colorado State University’s student government, a local theater company and a Fort Collins charter school has pleaded guilty to felony theft.
The Coloradoan reports ( ) 24-year-old Matthew Shane Strauch of Fort Collins was arrested last year on accusations he stole money from the Bas Bleu theater company and the T.R. Paul Academy of Arts and Knowledge. At the time, Strauch also was finance director for the Associated Students of Colorado State University.
Strauch pleaded guilty to a single theft count Friday. He is free on bond while he awaits a sentencing hearing set for May 22.
He has resigned his posts.
